Regarding the anthropometric measurrements, the size of the infants were proportional. The head circumference appears to be useful as a predictor of low birth weight. Among the infants studied, 7.0% (N=89) belongs to intra uterine growth retardation (IUGR) as a consequence of inadequate fetal growth. The relative risk of neonatal mortality of these IUGR infants was 7.4 times greater than those of the adequate birth weight infants (>= 2500g).</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">WQ 215-270 Pregnancy Complications</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">1994</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kesehatan</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mods:mods>
