Bednets were impregnated with permerthrine 0,20 g/m2. The purpose of this study was to reduce man vector contact, malaria and filariasis transmission and also as vector control. The entomological evaluation showed that the use of permethrine impregnated bednets could reduce the number of malaria vectors. Anopheles barbirostris, landing on man, and those resting indoor for about 8-9 months, landing on man outdoor for about 3 months and also reduced the mosquitoes with infective filariae larvae.
