The rapid development in malaria vaccine inspires the use of vaccine (alone or in combination with other available control measures) to combat malaria in Indonesia. It is expected that it will reduce not only the prevalence but also its transmission to a certain limit allowed to maintain the existance of malaria in a certain community.
