Repositori BKPKLeptospirosis di IndonesiaFaisalYatimauthorArtikel ini suatu tinjauan pustaka, dengan tujuan menggugah kepedulian para sejawat petugas pelayanan leptospirosis. Leptospirosis, merupakan penyakit zoonosis (penyakit binatang yang bisa menular kepada manusia) yang disebabkan oleh kelompok leptospira. Leptospirosis beresiko mengancam petani sawah, pekerja ladang tebu, pekerja tambang, penjelajah hutan, pengaruh jeram, yang senang kemping, peternak/ petugas yang mengawinkan hewan , dan pasukan gerilya militer. Masalah penyakit ini, karena angka kematian yang tinggi (sekitar 40%), dan bisa timbul disemua tempat, di daerah, di kota, desa, negara maju, apalagi negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Hewan pengidap penyakit terutama : tikus, binatang mengerat liar, dan binatang pemeliharaan (seperti anjing, kucing, babi, sapi dan kuda).
