Most of patients arrived in late stage condition to the health facility resulting unsatisfactory treatment's outcome. The aim of this study was to find out the probability of five-years survival rate and factors that influence its outcome. A cohort retrospective study was done at the Dharmais Cancer Hospital, Jakarta with a total of 184 cases of cervical cancer that were cared in the hospital during the year of 1996. The data were collected from the medical record department and the patients were followed up until the 31st of December 2001, with home visit, telephone calls or correspondences. A Kaplan Meyer analysis was used to determine the influencing factors. The results showed that the five-year survival probability of cervical cancer the Dharmais Cancer Hospital in 1996 was 0.435 or 40.3% with median of 1208 days. After checking the confounding factors and other interactions, clinical stage at the initial treatment and patient's adherence to the treatment protocol were the factors that influence the outcome of the cervicl cancer patients
