Information about the leprosy cases is needed as a way to handle the leprosy problem. The study was conducted in Sarang Subdistrict, Rembang Regency in 1996. Sample consisted of 44 leprosy cases found by conducting a special survey by door to door visiting. Most leprosy cases found were 20-24 years, were men (70,5%), had low education (95,5% elementary), suffered from leprosy type ME (75,0%), about 29,5% of the other family members also suffered from leprosy, and the time of living together of the other family suffering from leprosy with the leprosy case (sample) was more than 3 months.
