The objective of this study was to asses education model that can inrease earplug usage in workers who work in noisy enviroment (noise intensity was more than 85 dBA). This study used a quasi experimental with control design, to 213 person sample who were divided in 3 groups. Data collection was done through interviews and inspections. The intervention models were a direct education with an educational book, a direct education without educational book, and a model without any intervention (control). The study found that there was no difference between the three models in increasing the knowledge, attitude and practice toward noise and ear protection (p>0.05)
