Kuala Kapuas Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah Tahun 2006GustiMeliyanieauthorDi Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah jumlah kasus dan meninggal akibat DBD pada Tahun 2003 sebanyak 319 kasus dengan 9 kasus meninggal dan pada tahun 2004 sebanyak 453 kasus dengan 6 kasus meninggal. Tiga kabupaten endemis yaitu Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur, Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat, dan Kabupaten Kuala Kapuas. Khususnya di kab. Kuala Kapuas, kasus DBD dalam 3 tahun terakhir padatahun 2003 sebanyak 29 kasus (meninggal 1 kasus), kemudian meningkat pada tahun 2004 sebanya 34 kasus dan pada tahun 2005 kasus DBD turun menjadi 10 kasus. Dari gambaran penyakitDBD tersebut di atas maka dapat dikatakan bahwa penyakit DBD tetap menjadi masalah kesehatan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan kajian mengenai variasi kasus kejadian DBD untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab kejadian tersebut.
