So it is important that in order to decrease the problem, the other sector out of The Health Department should be involved. Government has established a various inter sector cooperation to increase maternal and children health. The study aimed to get description of the realization of inter sector cooperation to increase maternal and children health, contribution each sector, support from executive and legislative, effort of Health District, and inhibiting factors of the cooperation.       The research used Cross Sectional design, and conducted in 3 provinces, there were Central Java, East Java, and Central Kalimantan. Data was collected by indepth interview using interview list. Collected data was analyzed in descriptive, qualitative and quantitative. The result showed that there were various  inter sector cooperation for maternal and children health at all of the region, but popularity and activity of the program was not enough. It needed to optimize each sector contribution. Generally, executive and legislative support has been good, but it would be better if followed with formal policy. Inhibiting factors involved financial and lack of coordination inter sector (except in Lumajang), and social geographic condition in some region.
