Selanjutnya perlu dibuat leaflet untuk penyampaian informasi lebih lanjut pada para pengrajin sepatu tentang manfaat APD ST tersebut, dalam rangka sosialisasi penggunaannya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan disain penelitian Quasiexperimental studies with two groups (Corlien M. Vaskurisser, 1995). Populasi terdiri dari dua kelompok ialah kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol (control groups) masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 140 orang pengrajin sepatu. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawacara menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pemberian brosur/leaflet dengan penggunaan APD ST oleh pengrajin sepatu kulit pada p = 0,001 dan OR = 3,6.
