Terdapatnya habitat perkembangbiakan berupa tempat penampungan air menyebabkan tingginya populasi nyamuk penular, Aedes aegypti. Variabel yang merupakan hasil Riskesdas 2007 yang diukur adalah faktor kondisi tempat penampungan air minum (TPAM) terhadap kejadian DBD di daerah endemis Provinsi DKI Jakarta dan Bali. Sebagai faktor pengontrol adalah karakteristik individu, klasifikasi desa/kota, kepadatan hunian. Analisis ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan kondisi tempat penampungan air minum dengan kejadian DBD di daerah endemis DKI Jakarta dan Bali.Tehnik analisis dengan Chi square, univariat dan bivariat.
