PMT-AS activities as vehicles of nutrition education through supplementary feeding at school. Consequently, proper and applicable messages worth to develop based on actual food consumption behavior of the pupils.      Objective : To collect information regarding actual food consumption behavior of the pupils, i.e. to develop right messages to improve food consumption and nutrition status of the pupil.      Method : The study was carried out as cross-sectional; a number of 60 pupils and their respective mothers were randomly selected at two Elementary School of grade 11,2 and 3 at villages of Ciheuleut and Pasir Gaok in district of Bogor under PMT-AS program. Several key variables and one day food consumption. Average nutrient intake of the pupils were analyzed and compared to the Indonesian RDA.      Results : Most of the pupils have not been applying good and acceptable food consumption behavior, i.e. quantitatively and qualitatively as well; their dietary food consumption patterns relatively monotonous, vegetables are consumed very limited and also protein sources are less varieties. Snack foods which are usually consumed at school are less varieties and relatively unsafe.      Conclusions : There are important messages developed to improve food consumption and nutrition status of the pupils, i.e. eat breakfast before go to school, have complete meal 2-3 times a day and consumed vegetables every day.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">QU 145-220 Nutrition.
