Pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pengeringan sawah kurang baik, karena banyak petak masih berair pada saat pengeringan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi petani kurang baik. Agar pelaksanaan dapat lebih berhasil, diusulkan agar penelitian cara pemberantasan ini dilanjutkan dengan peran utama pelaksanaan ini oleh Departemen Pertanian.
