Malaria still persists in one place certain by parasites in body?s patient, easy infected person, Anopheline vector and also the environment. The limitation of people knowledge about Anopheline vector caused strategy of handing malaria should involve the people was being not effective.       This research was done in Pagar Desa village Bayung Lencir District of MUBA South Sumatera Province since April to November 2006. The aim of this study was to know variety of Anopheles in Anak Dalam Etnic Group area in MUBA District. Mosquitos? collection was conducted during the whole night, started at 18.00 until 06.00 in the morning, both indoor and outdoor and also collected by light trapping. They were 5 species of Anopheles collected, i.e. Anopheles umbrosus, Anopheles barbumbrosus, Anopheles nigerrimus, Anopheles kochi, and Anopheles sinensis. The density of mosquito was higher in June and it was correlated with downpour rain. Breeding places that found during the study were puddle marsh and gutter. There were 2 larval species of Anopheles found in marsh i.e. Anopheles umbrosus and Anopheles barbirostris.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">QX 500-675 Insects.
