In addition, about a half million women, mostly in developing countries, die each year from pregnancy related causes. In regarding with this issue, a reproductive health survey had been conducted in East Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara. This was reproductive health survey on pre-pregnant women aged 15-24 years. The objectives of this study were to assess the knowledge of respondents on issues related to reproductive health: health pregnancy, sexuality and fertility, family planning, HIV/AIDS and other sexual diseases. Furthermore, the study described the relationship between these knowledge with respondents attitude and behaviors. The study was also to determine anemia and nutrition status of the respondents. The design was a cross-sectional survey (household survey), using cluster sampling. The population was all pre-pregnant women aged 15-24 years in 2-sub districts of East Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara. For each sub-district, clusters (villages) are selected using Probability Proportionate to Size (PPS) method. Results showed that the majority of respondents (> 60%) only have little knowledge on reproductive health issues.
