One of the most common NCDs Coronary Heart Disease which is linked by common preventable risk factor related to life style i.e unhealthy diet and physical iactivity and intermediate risk factors i.e hypertension, obesity and Central obesity, diabetes. Data from Indonesia Basic Health Research National Survey 2007 has been analyzed to map the emerging epidemics of the heart diseases and to identify the ssociation within the risk factors and the physiological factors. The result showed hat the prevalence of suppose coronary heart disease diagnosed by health provider based on interview is 1.16 % as well as the symptoms that is 5.97.0%. The prevalence of behavior risk factors are very high, unhealthy diet (92.7%) and physical inactivity (23.3%), daily smoking (27.7%). The prevalence of hypertension, of obesity base on BMI and central obesity, diabetes based on interview and symptoms 15 years old and older were 32.5%, 10.0%, 20.4% and 1.6% respectively. Logistic Regression showed significantly correlation (p<0.05) between heart disease and physiological factors (Hypertension, obesity, central obesity and diabetes). We recommend education and promotion healthy life style and treatment for people who suffer from hypertension and diabetes since hypertension people has 1,6 times risk (OR 1,564-1,635), central obesity has 1,2 times risk (OR 1,178-1,236) and diabetes people has 5 times risk (OR 4,556-4.972) to suffer from heart disease.WG 200-460 Heart.
