This condition is      supported by the geographical conditions of the coffee plantations and forests. The      purpose of this study was to determine knowledge. attitudes and behavior of people in the      research area, and identify the factors underlying community participation in malaria      prevention. Research design used was a descriptive qualitative, with structured interviews,      focus group discussions (FGD), and observed behavior and living conditions of      respondents. This research is expected to increase public participation and as an input in      malaria prevention programs in the region. The results of this study indicate that      respondents have a job terpaparnya high risk of malaria. Know/edge of respondents about      malaria is still less salahsatunya less terpaparnya respondents to information about      malaria. Prevention behaviors such as use traditional malaria bed nets, wearing long      clothing, staying in private if the garden is the habits of the respondents always done. The      existence and ease of access to health care facilities to be a contributing factor to behave properly in the search for treatment, one of whom is a midwife practice of health service      facilities frequented However, the behavior of how malaria drugs are still wrong. The      family became a reference group of respondents to cope with malaria, as well as      information from television, while health officials and community leaders do not act to      encourage respondents to behave positively in tackling malaria.
