The purpose of this study was to determine knowledge. attitudes and behavior of people in the research area, and identify the factors underlying community participation in malaria prevention. Research design used was a descriptive qualitative, with structured interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and observed behavior and living conditions of respondents. This research is expected to increase public participation and as an input in malaria prevention programs in the region. The results of this study indicate that respondents have a job terpaparnya high risk of malaria. Prevention behaviors such as use traditional malaria bed nets, wearing long clothing, staying in private if the garden is the habits of the respondents always done.
