Penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi case control yang dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Tambakrejo Surabaya. Sampel penelitian adalah laki-laki berumur 18-45 tahun yang datang ke poli gigi dan belum pernah membersihkan karang giginya. Jumlah sampelnya seluruhnya 191 responden. Data dianalisis dengan uji Chisquare for Trends.
