To control NCD in Depok city an intervention program was developed, starting in August 2001 until March 2002 (8 months). Implementation of the intervention program was done by local government through motivation via advocacy, multi-sector approach; promotion of community behavior (individual, family, NGO/private/market) in health especially on major NCDs.
