Tujuan umum adalah memperoleh peta resistensi vektor DBD Ae. aegypti terhadap insektisida kelompok Pirethroid Sintetik, Karbamat dan Organofosfat di Propinsi Jawa Tengah dan DIY. Nyamuk yang digunakan adalah hasil survei jentik dari 11 daerah studi, kemudian dipelihara di laboratorium B2P2VRP Salatiga menjadi dewasa. Kondisi perut nyamuk yang digunakan adalah kenyang darah. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar vektor Demam Berdarah Dengue Aedes aegypti di beberapa daerah di Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta telah resisten terhadap: Malation 0.8%, Bendiokarb 0,1%, Lambdasihalotrin 0.05%, Permetrin 0,75%, Deltametrin 0,05%, dan Etofenprok 0,5% akan tetapi beberapa daerah masih peka/susceptible terhadap insektisida Sipermetrin 0.05% dan Bendiokarb 0,1%.WC 500-590 Virus Diseases2010Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Vektor dan Reservoir Penyakit SalatigaMonograph
