Repositori BKPKINDEKS ANTROPOMETRI SEBAGAI UJI DIAGNOSTIK DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE 2DelimaauthorPenelitian ini adalah uji diagnostik untuk menguji 4 indeks antropometri, IMT (indeks massa tubuh), WC (waist circumference), WHR (waist hip ratio), dan WtHR (waist to height ratio) sebagai alat skrining diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 1382 orang dewasa usia 30-55 tahun, tinggal di 5 RW Kelurahan Johar Baru, Jakarta Pusat, bersedia ikut dalam penelitian dan tidak sedang sakit keras (TB paru aktif atau kanker). Alat diagnostik baku yang digunakan adalah pemeriksaan kadar gula darah kapiler pada proses TTGO (tes toleransi glukosa oral) dengan menggunakan alat Advantage II. Hasil pemeriksaan mendapatkan penderita DM sebanyak 133 orang (9,6%) yang 84 (63,2%) di antaranya adalah penderita DM baru (undiagnosed DM). Sebanyak 230 orang (16,6%) adalah penderita toleransi glukosa terganggu (TGT). Cut off point terbaik untuk IMT adalah 25,2341 dengan sensitivitas sebesar 66,2% dan spesifisitas 60,2%. Cut off point terbaik untuk WC adalah 83,05 dengan sensitivitas 69,2% dan spesifisitas 60,4%. Cut off point terbaik untuk WHR adalah 0,8631 dengan sensitivitas 66,9% dan spesifisitas 61,2%. Cut off point terbaik untuk WHR adalah 0,5361 dengan sensitivitas 69,2% dan spesifisitas 60,2%. Hasil tes serial dari kombinasi dengan salah satu hasil tes positif menaikkan nilai sensitivitas namun menurunkan nilai spesifisitas. Kombinasi terbaik adalah IMT dengan WtHR yang mempunyai nilai sensitivitas 76,7%, nilai spesifisitas 52,8%, NPP 14,8%, dan NPN 95,5%, p=0,000. Dari seluruh tes di atas, tampaknya ukuran waist circumference (lingkar pinggang) memberikan nilai tertinggi untuk skrining diabetes mellitus pada cut off point 83,05 cm walaupun tidak dapat memenuhi hipotesis untuk mencapai sensitivitas dan spesifisitas minimal 80%.WK 800-885 Islets of Langerhans2002Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pemberantasan PenyakitMonograph
