Repositori BKPKIDENTIFIKASI GENOTIPE HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS-1 (HIV-1) PADA ORANG DENGAN HIV/AIDS (ODHA) DI PAPUA, KEPULAUAN RIAU, MALUKU, SULAWESI SELATAN, SUMATERA UTARA, SUMATERA BARAT DAN SULAWESI UTARARoselindaauthorDari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, didapatkan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: a. Distribusi subtipe HIV-1 di Provinsi Papua, Kepulauan Riau, Maluku, Sulawesi Selatan, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, dan Sulawesi Utara dominan adalah subtipe AE (57,35%), subtipe E (14,90%) dan subtipe AC (10,61%), A (5,31%) dan C (11,83%) b. Faktor risiko infeksi HIV di provinsi Papua, Kepulauan Riau, Maluku, Sulawesi Selatan, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, dan Sulawesi Utara, dominan penularan penyakit HIV/AIDS melalui IDU (53,75%), kemudian melalui perilaku seksual yaitu heteroseksual 948,75%), perinatal (6,25%) c. Subtipe CRF01_AE terbanyak adalah perempuan (55,56%), d. Subtipe CRFO 1_ AE paling banyak ditemukan pada kelompok IDU dan pada kelompok heteroseksual, demikianjuga dengan subtipe EdanA, sedangkan subtipe C dan AC ditemukan hanya pada kelompok heteroseksual dan tidak ditemukan pada IDU. Perlu disampaikan pada kelompok IDU agar tidak memakai jarum suntik secara bersama dan harus steril, juga pemakaian kondom yang konsisten dan setia pada pasangan masing-masing. Dari penelitian terdahulu disebutkan bahwa epidemi HIV sangat dinamis, disarankan penelitian subtipe HIV dilakukan secara periodik sehingga dapat memberikan informasi dalam perencanaan program baik edukasi untuk pencegahan, pengobatan, maupun pembuatan vaksin.QW 1-300 Microbiology2012Pusat Biomedis Teknologi Dasar KesehatanMonograph
