Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor risiko kejadian malaria di daerah endemis 6 Kabupaten propinsi kalimantan Selatan. Metode: Desain potong lintang. Populasi dan sampel penelitian dengan kriteria inklusi dan kriteria eksklusi, bersedia diambil darahnya dan diwawancarai. Hasil: 772 sampel, 239 sampel (10,60%) positif malaria, malaria falciparum 30 sampel, malaria vivax 209 sampel. Hasil uji bivariat: umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan, faktor risiko malaria (bekerja di kebun pada malam hari, penggunaan kelambu), faktor lingkungan (jarak tempuh menuju sarana kesehatan, waktu tempuh menuju sarana kesehatan, kandang ternak di dalam atau di luar rumah, jarak rumah dekat dengan breeding place).
