Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Kader Kesehatan Desa dalam penyulugan dilakukan pelatihan dalam merencanakan /melaksanakan penyuluhan kepada sasaran pelayanan di Posyandu. Khususnya pada ibu hamil. Metode pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi kelompok dan permainan peran. Hasil-hasil penelitian yang diperoleh antara lain, bahwa karakteristik ibu-ibu hamil antara daerah kontrol dan daerah eksperimental tidak menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna (p>0,05), tentang tingkat umur, jenis pekerjaan ibu hamil yang dikerjakan, tingkat pendidikan dan tingkat pendapatan. Umur ibu hamil yang <30 tahun hampir sama persentasenya dengan yang > 30 tahun, sebagian besar ibu hamil tidak bekerja dan penghasilan sebagian besar Rp 100.000,- ke bawah, dengan tingkat pendidikan sebagaian besar tamat sekolah dasar.WQ 200-212 Reproduction.
