Telah dilakukan fusi antara sel mieloma line PX63 Ag6.8.5.3 yang pada pembiakannya menggunakan mencit strain Balb/C dengan sel B.limfosit yang diperoleh dari limfa mencit strain Balb/C yang sebelumnya telah diimunisasi dengan antigen FHA. Inducer yang digunakan adalah PEG 4000 pada konsentrasi 50% b/v. Sasaran yang hendak dicapai dengan antibodi monoklonal ini adalah pengembangan imunodiagnosa infeksi batuk rejan yang spesifik, mudah, cepat dan dapat mengurangi kerancuan diagnosa laboratorisnya terhadap infeksi saluran pernapasan atas lain.
