Ditemukan bahwa di Tuminting/Meras yang mewakili daerah pantai dan Teling Atas/Tingkulu yang mewakili daerah pedalaman dari Kodya Manado ada transmisi lokal. Nyamuk tersangka vektor di daerah pantai adalah An. subpictus yang mempunyai tempat perindukan antara lain berupa kolam udang/ikan yang tidak terurus. Sedangkan untuk daerah pedalaman adalah An. barbirostris yang mempunyai tempat perindukan berupa sawah.
