Penelitian dilakukan di tiga Propinsi yaitu: Bali, Sulawesi Selatan dan Kalimantan Selatan. Masing masing propinsi dipilih satu kabupaten dan tiap kabupaten diambil 4 (empat) puskesmas. Pemilihan puskesmas didasarkan atas pertimbangan jumlah tenaea dan penampilan kerja yang dilihat pada besarnye pencapaian score stratifikasi puskesmas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan waktu kerja (efektif dan tak efektif) di Bali dan Sulawesi Selatan cukup baik, sedang di Kalimantan Selatan relatif masih rendah. Kalau melihat pemanfaatan waktu efektif untuk kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan program puskesmas saja, ternyata di Bali masih relatif baik, sedangkan di Sulawesi Selatan dan Kalimantan Selatan masih perlu ditingkatkan.W 1-28 Reference Works.
