Repositori BKPKSERO-EPIDEMIOLOGI ANTITOKSIN TETANUS DI INDONESIAEkoSuprijantoauthorMuljatiPrijantoauthorRiniPangastutiauthorSitiSundariauthorSebanyak 1761 wanita umur 5 sampai 30 tahun dari Kabupaten Kulon Progo (Di Yogyakarta), Kabupaten Lamongan (Jawa Timur), dan Kabupaten Lombok Barat (Nusa Tenggara Barat) telah dilibatkan dalam penelitian serologi antitoksin tetanus pada akhir tahun 1990. Di masing-masing daerah sampel dipilih dengan WHO's Cluster Sampling Technique. Selain mengumpulkan darah vena sebanyak 1 ml, juga dicatat status vaksinasi tetanus dari masing-masing individu sampel. Pemeriksaan antitoksin tetanus dilakukan dengan Passive Haemagglutination Assay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antitoksin tetanus yang diperoleh karena vaksinasi DT-anak SD dapat bertahan lama sampai anak umur 20 tahun lebih. Jumlah sampel yang terlalu sedikit belum dapat membuktikan bahwa mereka hanya memerlukan 1 dosis ulangan toksoid tetanus untuk meningkatkan kadar antitoksin sampai titik optimal agar mampu mewariskan kekebalan tetanus kepada bayi dalam kandungannya.WC 195-425 Infection.
