Repositori BKPKANTITOKSIN DIFTERI PADA BAYI SETELAH DI IMUNISASI DENGAN VAKSIN DPT DAN DTMuljatiPrijantoauthorEkoSuprijantoauthorFaridaSiburianauthorShoichiKameyamaauthorPenelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Jombang, Jawa Timur, pada 1100 orang bayi berumur 3-8 bulan. Bayi tersebut dibagi dalam 3 group dan diimunisasi dengan vaksin DPT atau DT 3x dengan selang waktu 6 minggu. Potensi vaksin yang digunakan serta transportasi dan penyimpanan vaksin ("cold chain") telah memenuhi persyaratan. Serum diperiksa kenaikan titer zat anti (antitoksin) terhadap difteri dengan cara passive hemagglutinasi. Titer antitoksin yang dianggap dapat memberi perlindungan terhadap penyakit difteri ialan 0.01 HAU/ml. Setelah 6 minggu ternyata perlindungan yang ada sebelum imunisasi dan yang didapat karena vaksinasi dari masing-masing group terhadap difteri ialah: -Group I, 234 bayi (dengan vaksinasi DPT-DPT-DT): sebelum vaksinasi 8.5% dan sesudahnya 62.15% -Group II, 242 bayi (dengan vaksinasi DT-DPT-DPT): sebelum vaksinasi 10.3% dan sesudahnya 64.05% -Group III, 253 bayi (dengan vaksinasi DPT-DT-DPT): sebelum vaksinasi 14.2% dan sesudahnya 60.93%.
