This study is an analytic observational study with cross sectional study design, aimed to obtain the main risk factors associated with blood pressure in women of childbearing age. The data were based on the Baseline of Cohort Study of Child Growth 2016, consisting of woman of reproductive age (15-49 years old) who live in Kelurahan Kebon Kelapa and Panaragan, Bogor Tengah Sub-district, Bogor City in 2016 with total sample 450 people. The analysis used was Chi-Square test and logistic regression. The results show that age and body mass index (BMI) are major risk factors in blood pressure above normal. Women aged ≥35 years risk about two times for the occurrence of blood pressure above normal than women aged <35 years. IMT values ≥25 kg/m2 (overweight and obese) risk about two times for blood pressure above normal compared to those of BMI <25 kg/m2. The study suggests women to check blood pressure and do a healthy lifestyle to prevent blood pressure above normal. ABSTRAK Peningkatan tekanan darah hingga di atas normal berisiko dalam proses timbulnya penyakit pembuluh darah sebagai penyebab kematian. Penelitian ini merupakan studi observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional study, bertujuan mendapatkan faktor risiko utama yang terkait dengan tekanan darah pada wanita usia subur. Data berasal dari baseline Penelitian Kohor Tumbuh Kembang Anak 2016, yakni data wanita usia subur (15-49 tahun) yang berdomisili di Kelurahan Kebon Kelapa dan Panaragan, Kecamatan Bogor Tengah, Kota Bogor pada tahun 2016 dengan total sampel 450 orang. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji Kai Kuadrat dan regresi logistik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa usia dan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) merupakan faktor risiko utama pada tekanan darah di atas normal. Usia ≥35 tahun berisiko sekitar dua kali untuk terjadinya tekanan darah di atas normal dibandingkan wanita berusia <35 tahun. Nilai IMT ≥25 kg/m2 (kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas) berisiko sekitar dua kali untuk terjadinya tekanan darah di atas normal dibandingkan IMT <25 kg/m2.
