Subchronic toxicity tests on rat were done on Jamu Galian &#13;
Singset NA and Galian Putri AM, while antipyretic tests were dona on jamu Pegel Linu AM and jamu Tujuh Angin AM. &#13;
Not all simplicia components of the jamu  could be identified by microscopical examination. The results of the toxicity test on the jamu were that all of them or "Practirolly Non Toxic" and "Accepted as safe".&#13;
No abnormalities were found on tha vital organs due to the &#13;
jamu  prolongaata administration. Antipyratic effect of jamu  Tujuh Angin AM was found at dosagas of 60 mg powder par  100 g body weight, 120 mg powder par 100 g body Weight and 240 mg powder par 100 g body weight which are aquivalent to 30 mg Sodium Salicylate par 100 g body weight. There is no dose-response relation of the jamu tested.</dc:description>
