Disamping hal yang menguntungkan, penggunaan pestisida ini akan mengakibatkan/menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan antara lain adanya residu pestisida dalam hasil pertanian. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penetapan residu pestisida dalam jenis-jenis beras yang beredar di Jakarta yang berasal dari daerah-daerah penghasil beras di Jawa Barat dan beras ex.Luar Negeri.
