Di Indonesia, pada tahun 2011 terdapat 333 kasus difteri dengan 11 kematian. Penyakit ini merupakan penyakit yang dapat dicegah dengan Imunisasi DPT (Diphteria, Pertusis, Tetanus). Cakupan imunisasi DPT pada Riskesdas 2007 adalah 88%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap titer antibodi difteri pada anak berumur 1-14 tahun berdasar hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar 2007. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisa data sekunder hasil pemeriksaan titer antibodi responden Riset Kesehatan Dasar 2007 (anak umur 1-14 tahun) dengan sampel sejumlah 2041. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa variabel umur memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan titer antibodi (OR=0.78, p=0.001;95% CI (0,69-0,88)) dan dari variabel umur tersebut, kelompok umur 1-4 tahun adalah kelompok umur yang paling terlindung dari infeksi difteri sebesar 78%.
