Repositori BKPKIdentifikasi Non Polio Entero Virus (NPEV) Dengan Uji Netralisasi Dari Kasus Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) Di Laboratorium Polio Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Biomedis dan Farmasi Tahun 2007SintaPurnamawatiauthorPenyebab Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) selain virus polio juga Non Polio Entero Virus (NPEV), oleh sebab itu pada tahun 2010 telah dilakukan identifikasi NPEV dari sampel kasus AFP tahun 2007. Non Polio Entero Virus (terdiri dari empat kelompok yaitu virus polio, coxsackie A, coxsackie B dan Echovirus) telah menyebabkan wabah di beberapa negara tetangga dekat Indonesia seperti Malaysia, Singapura, Taiwan dan Australia. Selain itu beberapa spesies enterovirus juga dituding sebagai penyebab Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) antara lain Coxsackie A16, HEV-71, Echo 6 dan Echo 4. Dilaporkan bahwa beberapa virus ini tetap bersirkulasi sepanjang tahun walaupun tidak menimbulkan penyakit yang berat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi serotipe NPEV dari isolat AFP yang tersimpan di Laboratorium Polio Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Biomedis dan Farmasi tahun 2007. Penelitian ini merupakan investigasi laboratorium. Sebagai sampel adalah arsip isolat NPEV dari kasus AFP tahun 2007. Pemeriksaan dilakukan di Laboratorium Polio. Metode pemeriksaan dilakukan dengan uji netralisasi menggunakan antisera Entero untuk mengetahui serotipe virus. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan entero virus yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah virus dengan serotipe Echo 30.WC 1-100 Reference Works.
