However, on the other hand, health authorities faced serious challenges in the form of a crisis of confidence due to the dismissal of a senior medical figure (Dr. Piprim), threats to public finances (the BPJS contribution discourse), and operational incidents in the government's flagship program (the Free Nutritious Meals/MBG poisoning). The handling of the measles issue is a crucial indicator of the effectiveness of the current national immunization system.
