Jakarta - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) held the Civil Servant (PNS) Oath-Taking Ceremony as well as the Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremony for Functional Officials in the Arslonga Room, Health Development Policy Agency (BKPK), Wednesday (26/8).
The event was attended by civil servants from the BKPK (Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission) and the Ministry of Health's Inspectorate General (Itjen). The inaugurated participants included 17 from the BKPK and 61 from the Itjen (a total of 78 civil servants).
This oath-taking affirms the civil servants' moral commitment to carrying out their duties with integrity, loyalty, and professionalism. Furthermore, the inauguration of functional officials is expected to strengthen organizational capacity by optimizing competencies and innovation in supporting the Ministry of Health's duties.

The Head of the BKPK, Prof. Asnawi Abdullah, emphasized that the oath of office is not merely an administrative formality, but rather a mandate and commitment to prioritize the interests of the state and the people.
"The oath/promise that you say today is not just a series of words, but is a moral commitment to carry out your duties with full responsibility, prioritize the interests of the state and society, and maintain the trust you have been given. Make this oath a reminder in every decision and action you take in carrying out your duties," said Prof Asnawi.
"The BKPK has a strategic role in supporting health development policies. Therefore, every civil servant must continuously improve their competency, work based on data and evidence, and be able to provide quality policy recommendations that are useful for decision-making," he continued.
Prof. Asnawi also encouraged civil servants to continue adapting to technological developments and digital transformation, while prioritizing cross-unit and cross-professional collaboration. He stated that the BKPK (Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission) plays a strategic role in formulating evidence -based policy recommendations to support national health development.
