The BKPK Inaugurates Two Functional Officials, Encourages Contributions to the Advancement of Indonesia's Health System

The Head of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (BKPK), Prof. Asnawi Abdullah, inaugurated two functional officials within the Health Development Policy Agency (BKPK): Nanang Yunarto as an Associate Expert Policy Analyst and Kartika Dewi Puspa as a Junior Expert Health Administrator. The ceremony took place in the Ars Longa Room, Building 3, BKPK, on ​​Wednesday (February 4).

In his remarks, Prof. Asnawi urged the newly appointed officials to be exemplary in carrying out their duties and to think innovatively to address existing challenges. He also encouraged employees to continually improve their capacity through learning, both from field experience and the latest scientific knowledge. 

"As a health policy analyst and administrator, you are expected to possess not only strong technical competencies but also in-depth insight into various emerging health issues in society," said Prof. Asnawi.

Prof. Asnawi further explained that the role of policy analysts is crucial. Policy analysts are responsible for conducting in-depth studies, developing policy recommendations, and providing support in formulating evidence-based policies. In the context of the BKPK as think tanks Ministry of Health, policy analysts are expected to produce innovative ideas that can provide solutions to health problems in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, health administrators are responsible for implementing formulated policies, ensuring their effective implementation, and promoting improvements in the quality of healthcare services in the field. Health administrators are also expected to address any emerging health administration issues with critical thinking and a proactive approach, ensuring that every program they implement provides optimal benefits to the community.
