Jakarta – The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) held a 2024 Pancasila Birth Day Commemoration Ceremony attended by officials and employees at the Head Office Ceremony Field, Jalan Rasuna Said, Jakarta (1/6). Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono acted as the Ceremony Inspector, leading and reading the welcoming speech of the Head of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP).
"The 2024 Pancasila Birth Day Commemoration takes the theme Pancasila, the Soul of the Nation Unity Towards Golden Indonesia 2045. This theme implies that Pancasila unites us with all differences in ethnicity, religion, culture, and language in welcoming 100 years of a Golden Indonesia that is advanced, independent and sovereign," said Dante reading the remarks of the Head of BPIP.
Pancasila is expected to be a filter so that the Indonesian nation does not experience disorientation in the future. The rapid progress of information technology today is marked by the massive use of technology and smartphones in accessing information through various media that must be used wisely. One of them is to broadcast positive content and narratives that reflect the actualization of Pancasila values in the midst of community, national, and state life.
"More than that, I invite all components of the nation to mainstream Pancasila with contemporary methods and ways in welcoming the demographic bonus that will position millennials and Gen-Z as the main actors in national development," Dante continued.
Finally, Dante read out the Head of BPIP's invitation to all components of the nation to work together to preserve the gift of Pancasila through the commemoration of Pancasila Birth Day on June 1.
"We must work together and collaborate to maintain harmony and integrity as a form of practicing the values of Pancasila, hopefully the commemoration of Pancasila Birth Day can pump up the spirit of all of us to continue practicing Pancasila for the sake of an advanced, just, prosperous, and dignified Indonesia on the world stage," concluded Dante ending his speech.
