
Jakarta – A training team from Guido Valadares National Hospital (HNGV) in Timor-Leste conducted a comparative study visit to the Health Policy Gallery and Library of the Health Development Policy Agency (BKPK) of the Ministry of Health on Thursday (January 8). This visit was part of a series of training activities. Accounting and procurement which is being followed by the HNGV team in Jakarta.
The group was welcomed directly by Leny Wulandari, the Person in Charge of the Health Policy Gallery and Library of the Ministry of Health's BKPK, who provided an explanation of the function of the gallery and library as a center for health policy information, knowledge documentation, and learning resources for health workers and policy makers.
Levita Alves Dos Santos, Head of the Financial Planning Unit at HNGV, shared her deep impressions of the visit. She expressed her deep admiration for the Health Policy Gallery's collection, particularly the information on traditional medicines and various disease management approaches from various regions in Indonesia, documented in books and other available materials.
"This gallery provides rich insights, not only from a policy perspective but also into local wisdom-based health practices that are highly relevant for development," he said.

Levita also expressed her hope to return to the site in the future to deepen her understanding and expand learning collaborations.
This visit is expected to foster a beneficial exchange of knowledge and experience, while strengthening ties and collaboration in health management between Indonesia and Timor-Leste, particularly in supporting the capacity building of human resources in health care.
